“The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) proudly joins the global community in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025. Guided by this year’s theme, ‘Fostering Disability-Inclusive Societies for Advancing Social Progress,’ we reaffirm our commitment to building communities where persons with disabilities are empowered, included, and fully supported.

Through our Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) programs, we work closely with families, barangays, local government units, and multisectoral partners to strengthen accessibility, enhance participation, and ensure that essential services reach every person with disability. As we continue to break barriers and promote equal opportunities, we move together toward a society where dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement are upheld for all.”
