Did you know that Axolotl can regenerate their body parts??๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Axolotls possess the ability to perfectly regenerate complex body parts, including full limbs, tail, spinal cord, and even organs, without scarring. Upon injury, they form a "blastema"โ€”a mass of stem-like cellsโ€”that reconstructs the exact missing tissue, a process heavily researched for applications in human regenerative medicine.

Nerve Dependence: Limb regeneration is not just local; it relies on the nervous system and can even be linked to sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight) signaling. ๐Ÿ’ง

The regeneration of an Axolotl's parts generally takes 40 to 50 days for juveniles, while adults may take several months to fully regenerate limbs or tails. Complete functional restoration of complex tissues like limbs, tail, or spinal cord occurs through a specialized healing process, with most, if not all, of the, work completed within a few weeks.

While Axolotls can regenerate their body parts, they cannot survive being cut in half. They can regrow limbs, tails, gills, and even parts of their heart and brain but a bisection that destroys major organs and disrupts their nervous system is fatal.

There is no scientific evidence linking broken mirrors or pictures to death. Objects break because of physical factors like accidents, gravity, temperature changes, or weak materials. Death is caused by biological and medical reasons, not by broken objects.

In the past, mirrors were rare and valuable, so breaking one was seen as a bad sign. When a death happened afterward, people associated the two events, even though it was just coincidence.
