Today marks another significant milestone for the province of Eastern Samar as we witness the awarding and continuous provision of Desktop Computers with Sign Pads to our various Local Government Units (LGUs). This initiative is part of a nationwide effort to fully implement the Unified Persons with Disability ID System (UPWDIS)—ensuring that services for our Persons with Disabilities (PWD) community are streamlined, accessible, and efficient.

This meaningful advancement is made possible through the unwavering generosity of the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), led by Executive Director Glenda Relova.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Provincial Government of Eastern Samar, under the visionary leadership of Governor Ralph Vincent Evardone, whose steadfast commitment to inclusive governance continues to uplift Estehanons. The successful facilitation and submission of documentary requirements were driven by the dedication of the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), led by OIC Hendrick A. Dacuyan.

Together, we are not just distributing technology—we are restoring dignity, expanding accessibility, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
