1. Sunlight is Key
Santan is a sun-lover. To get the best flowering, it needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.

2. Watering and Humidity
Keep it Moist: Santan likes consistent moisture but hates "wet feet." Water it when the top inch of the soil feels dry.

Drainage: Ensure your pot has good drainage holes. Sitting in water can lead to root rot.

Humidity: They enjoy a humid environment. If the air is very dry, a quick misting of the leaves in the morning can help.

3. Soil and Fertilizer
Acidic Soil: Santan thrives in slightly acidic soil. You can add organic matter like compost or even coffee grounds occasionally to maintain acidity.

Fertilizing: During the growing season (which is most of the year in tropical climates), use a balanced fertilizer or one high in potassium to encourage those red flowers.

4. Pruning and Maintenance
