The easiest way to reach the Dinagat Islands is through Surigao City.
From Manila
Fly to Surigao City (fastest option), or fly to Butuan City and travel by bus/van to Surigao City.
Go to Surigao Port/Boulevard.
Take a ferry or fast craft to San Jose, the provincial capital. Flights are not available directly to Dinagat Islands.
From Cebu
Fly to Surigao City.
Take a ferry to San Jose, Dinagat.
From Surigao City
Ferries to San Jose run several times daily.
Travel time is usually about 1 to 2 hours.
