โWhat you see on TV - the intensity, the grit, the respect - we brought that to life.
โNo bright lights, no hype, just raw boxing: skill meeting will, and pride meeting respect.
โEvery glove touch showed sportsmanship, every round showed heart.
โ
โThis is what sparringโs really about - learning, testing yourself, and fighting for your honor.
โNot against someone, but for something.
โ
โโThe fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road.โ

โPrecision. Control. Grit.
โThe Boxing Sparring Exhibition wasnโt just a showcase โ it was proof that the club is back, stronger and sharper than ever. Every round, every punch carried the weight of a comeback in motion.
โ
โA huge thank you to Coach Salatiel G. Amit for serving as our referee and ensuring the safety and fairness of every bout โ your guidance keeps us grounded and growing. ๐
โ
โAnd this? Just the beginning.
โKeep your eyes peeled โ weโre coming back bigger, louder, and harder for Foundation Week. ๐ฅ

THE FIRST EVER BOXING MATCH LIVE AT TCA๐จ
1. Boxing Match Rules
1. Duration of the Match
-Rounds: Typically, amateur boxing matches last between 3 rounds.
Each round is usually 3 minutes long with a 1-minute rest period between rounds.
2. Weight Classes
- Boxers should be categorized into different weight classes to ensure fair competition.
- Bantamweight : 53.5kg to 55kg
- Featherweight: 57 kg to 59 kg
- Lightweight: 61 kg to 63.5kg
- Welterweight: 67 kg to 70kg
Use a weigh-in to determine the proper class for each participant.
3. Equipment
-Gloves: All boxers should wear gloves appropriate for their weight class (generally 12-16 oz gloves for amateur matches).
-Headgear: Headgear is mandatory for amateur and intramural boxing for protection.
-Mouthguard: Boxers must wear a fitted mouthguard. Each player must provide their own.
-Hand Wraps: Boxers must wrap their hands underneath the gloves for wrist and knuckle protection.
-Attire: Boxers must wear boxing shorts and athletic shoes (no shoes with spikes or cleats).
2. Match Format
1. Pre-Fight Instructions
- The referee calls both fighters to the center of the ring for final instructions, reinforcing sportsmanship and basic rules (no low blows, no hitting after the bell, no rabbit punches, etc.).
2. Starting the Fight
- Fighters start in their designated corners. When the bell rings, they come to the center and engage.
3. Legal Punches
- Boxers may only strike their opponent with a closed fist.
- Legal target areas include the opponent's head and torso (above the belt).
- Hitting below the belt, in the back, or on the back of the head is illegal.
3. Stoppages and Knockouts
1. Knockdowns
- If a fighter is knocked down (i.e., any part of their body other than their feet touches the canvas due to a punch), the referee will:
- Start a 10-second count.
- If the fighter gets up before 10 and shows they are fit to continue, the fight resumes.
- If the fighter doesnโt get up, the fight ends in a knockout (KO).
2. Technical Knockout (TKO)
- A TKO is declared when the referee decides a fighter cannot continue due to:
- Receiving excessive punishment without being able to defend themselves.
- The fighterโs corner stops the fight (throwing in the towel).
- Injury that prevents the fighter from continuing (e.g., a cut).
3. Stopping the Fight
- The referee can stop the fight at any time if a fighter is not defending themselves or is taking too much damage. This is for the safety of the boxer.
5. Safety Guidelines
1. Medical Check
- Each fighter must undergo a medical check before and after the fight to ensure they are fit to compete and that they have no lasting injuries.
2. Stopping for Injury
- If a fighter suffers an injury (cut, swollen eye, etc.), the fight can be stopped by the referee or the ringside doctor for safety reasons.
3. Refereeโs Role
- The refereeโs primary job is to protect the fighters. If one fighter is in danger or unable to defend themselves, the referee must stop the fight.
6. Code of Conduct
1. Sportsmanship
- Boxers must adhere to sportsmanship rules. Any unsportsmanlike conduct, such as taunting or hitting after the bell, will result in warnings and possible disqualification.
2. Respect for Opponents
- Fighters should shake hands at the start and end of the match as a sign of mutual respect.
7. Responsibilities of the Judges and Referees
1. Judges
-Judges must be positioned on different sides of the ring to score each round based on the criteria mentioned earlier (clean punching, ring generalship, defense, etc.).
2. Referee
- Referees must ensure the rules are followed, call fouls, break clinches, and stop the fight when necessary for the fighters' safety.
All the Illegal moves in Boxing
1. Low Blow: Punches below the beltline are illegal as they target sensitive areas and organs, like the groin, which can cause serious injury.
2. Rabbit Punch: Striking the back of the head or neck is illegal due to the high risk of spinal or brain injury.
3. Kidney Punch: Punching the lower back, particularly around the kidneys, is prohibited because it can cause internal damage.
4. Elbow Strike: Using the elbow to hit, especially to the head or face, is illegal because it can cause severe cuts and injuries.
5. Headbutt: Deliberately striking an opponent with your head is illegal due to the high risk of fractures to the nose or skull.
6. Holding and Hitting: Grabbing your opponent while punching them is forbidden as it prevents them from defending themselves.
7. Hitting on the Break: Throwing a punch after the referee calls for a break during a clinch is illegal.
8. Hitting a Downed Opponent: Punching someone who is on the canvas or after a knockdown is not allowed.
9. Using the Ropes: Holding onto the ropes for leverage while punching is illegal.
10. Spinning Backfist: This move involves striking with the back of the hand, which is not allowed in boxing.
11. Kneeing: Striking with the knee is against the rules due to the risk of severe internal injuries.
12. Pushing: While often tolerated, pushing is technically illegal as it disrupts the flow of the fight.
13. Spitting Out the Mouthpiece: Intentionally spitting out the mouthpiece in the middle of the bout to gain rest time is considered an unsporting behavior.
14. Disrespecting the Referee: Ignoring to follow the refereeโs instructions can result in penalties.
15.Hitting with the Shoulder:Using the shoulder to strike or push an opponent is illegal.
16. Biting or Spitting:Biting or spitting on an opponent is a blatant violation of the rules.
17.Thumb Punch (or Eye Gouging):Gouging or hitting with the thumb intentionally towards the eyes is illegal as it can cause severe visual impairments.
