MSU–Zamboanga Sibugay Welcomes ZIEERDEC for Institutional Visit

Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay through the remarkable leadership of Chancellor Sheila G.Magolama, PhD, proudly welcomed the Zamboanga Peninsula Industry-Energy and Emerging Research and Development Consortium (ZIEERDEC) for an institutional visit aimed at strengthening partnerships in research, innovation, and development.

The visit highlighted MSU–Zamboanga Sibugay's active commitment to advancing research excellence and expanding collaborative opportunities with regional and national partners. Through productive discussions and the sharing of institutional priorities, the University showcased its readiness to contribute to impactful research initiatives that address the needs of communities and support sustainable regional development.

As an active participant in the regional research and innovation ecosystem, MSU–Zamboanga Sibugay stands to benefit from strengthened linkages with ZIEERDEC through expanded opportunities for collaborative research, faculty and student capacity-building, access to research funding and technical expertise, technology transfer initiatives, and wider engagement in innovation-driven programs.
The institutional visit marks another important step toward building meaningful partnerships that will enhance the University's research capabilities, promote knowledge exchange, and create lasting contributions to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation in the Zamboanga Peninsula.
