MGA KA-EE the long wait is OVER! The IIEE LDCUSC Electrical Engineering Days will be held on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎–𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, featuring exciting and competitive games such as 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞, 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 , 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢, 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) – LDCU Student Chapter successfully implemented the Solar Street Light Installation Project at Sitio Macao, Barangay Tagpangi, Cagayan de Oro City. This project was undertaken as part of the chapter’s commitment to community extension and sustainable development, providing an environmentally friendly lighting solution for an area with limited access to conventional electrical services. Through the use of solar energy, the project promotes renewable power utilization while showcasing the practical application of electrical engineering knowledge in real-world community needs.

The installation of the solar street light aims to improve safety, visibility, and overall quality of life for the residents, especially during nighttime. This project also served as a valuable hands-on learning experience for student members, strengthening their technical skills, teamwork, and sense of social responsibility. The IIEE–LDCU Student Chapter continues to uphold its mission of empowering communities through innovative, sustainable, and service-oriented engineering projects.
