🌳 2026 ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION

The staff of the Office of the City Vice Mayor and the Office of the City Council joined the 2026 Arbor Day tree-planting activity conducted by the City Government through the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) at the City Eco Park in Zayas, Carmen.

The activity was held in observance of Republic Act No. 10176 (Arbor Day Act of 2012) and City Ordinance No. 13548-2018, which declares July 4 of every year as Arbor Day in Cagayan de Oro City.

As a committed environmental advocate and author of the proposed One Million Trees Ordinance, Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez continues to support initiatives that promote environmental stewardship.

She was represented during the activity by Atty. Yenyen Empinado O. Alabe, who joined City Councilor Roberto Cabaring, and other representatives from various LGU departments.
