Ang Commission on Human Rights Region X, ubos sa ilang mandato nga protektahan ug i-promote ang katungod sa tanang tawo—ilabina ang mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)—nagpadayon sa ilang monthly Places of Detention (POD) visits sa lain-laing detention facilities sa Lanao del Norte.

Gipangunahan kini sa Prevention Cluster sa Komisyon, nga naghatag og legal services ug nagtan-aw sa aktwal nga kahimtang sa mga PDLs aron masiguro nga ang ilang mga katungod ug dignidad ginatuman, ginarespeto, ug ginaprotektahan sulod sa pasilidad.

IN PHOTOS | The Commission on Human Rights Region X joins the national commemoration of the 2026 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (IACM) last 21 May 2026, carrying this year’s theme: “Light the Legacy: Remember. Advance. Act. Keeping the Light Alive.”

The activity served as a meaningful reminder to honor and remember the lives lost to AIDS, while continuing the call to advance human rights, dignity, equality, and access to healthcare for all—especially persons living with HIV and vulnerable communities.

As a steadfast advocate of human rights, the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines remains committed to promoting non-discrimination, inclusion, and compassionate action toward a society free from stigma and prejudice.

Aron masiguro ang padayon nga pagrespeto, pagpanalipod, ug pagtuman sa katungod dili lamang sa mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), apil usab ang mga Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL), gipahigayon sa CHR X ang iyang monitoring ug visitation mandate sa Places of Detention (POD), ilabina sa Bahay Pag-asa sa Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

Ang maong kalihokan kabahin sa mandato sa CHR nga pagmonitor sa detention facilities ug child-caring institutions aron masiguro ang makatawhanon ug rights-based nga pagtratar sa mga persons under custody.
