Here's Day 1 of reviving the passion of writing.
Topic: TOXIC Boss
Some employees are not tired because of work.
They are tired because they spend 8 hours every day trying to survive someone else’s insecurity.
A toxic boss can make talented people question themselves.
Can make confident people go silent.
Can make hardworking employees lose motivation slowly… quietly.
But here’s what I learned:
Do not let a difficult leader change your character.
Protect your professionalism.
Protect your peace.
Protect your future.
Because one day, you will become someone’s leader too.
And when that happens… remember how this felt.
That’s leadership.

before: wishing people had treated me better
to my 2026 version ⬇️
How they treated me is already in the past. I no longer cling to every bit of what happened and how people were... instead, I see them as situations and people to learn from.
a Mindset Shift is needed... from a victim to just being free. free from all the hate, the need for validation just because I was wronged, the need for redemption.
Don't live to impress your haters. It is such a waste of time.

Stop Herd Mentality in 2025 and encourage Critical Thinking and innovation
Herd mentality in sales teams refers to the tendency of team members to follow the actions, strategies, or behaviors of the majority, often without questioning or critically evaluating their effectiveness. This behavior can arise from a desire to conform, avoid conflict, or simply go along with what seems to be the "safe" or "proven" approach. While it can create cohesion, it can also stifle innovation and lead to suboptimal outcomes.
One example of Herd Mentality is following the Leader Blindly: Team members may adopt the same sales tactics or strategies as the top performer or team leader, assuming that what works for one person will work for everyone.
Although Cohesion, Unity and Quick Thinking are some benefits of HM, however, it can certainly miss individual strengths and focused-strategies.
As somebody from Mindanao, what works for those in the Luzon or Visayas may not be effective in Mindanao. So, instead of just copying or mirroring strats done in other parts of Ph, I always encourage my team to learn from what others are doing but execute in a way it resonates to our local market for the strats to be effective.
As my former boss always tells us:
“None of us has the monopoly of great ideas. Share great ideas here and, together, we may be able to craft some individual plans but the goal is still the same which is to hit target.”
Herd Mentality, aside from it is not my thing, is passé.

Sunday… that once a month decision of traveling a day prior the meeting rather than waking up at 3am to catch the 6am flight.
The “Para kanino ka bumabangon” ain’t applicable to get me going, really. I also don’t believe that I need motivation.
All I have is this unquestionable will to always get up, enjoy life, enjoy work to enjoy life.
