Nightfam, it’s easy to look at a screen and see statistics, but we have to remember that behind every number is a life that was cut short and a family that will never be the same. 💔

Since March 2nd, the escalation of violence in Lebanon has claimed at least 394 lives, according to official reports from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and the United Nations.

The data confirms that among the dead are at least 83 children and 42 women.

Another 1,130 people have been wounded, many of them left with injuries that will change their lives forever.

But the tragedy doesn't stop there.

This crisis has already displaced nearly 700,000 people, forcing families to flee their homes with nothing but what they can carry.

At the same time, at least five hospitals have been forced to close, and dozens of healthcare centers have been damaged, leaving those who are suffering with nowhere to turn.

You see, when we talk about "strategic strikes" or "security incidents," we often lose sight of the human cost.

The truth is, these numbers are likely just the beginning, as rescue workers struggle to reach those still trapped under the rubble.

We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to this.

We have to look past the headlines and see the humanity, because every innocent life lost is a reminder of how much we still have to learn about living in peace.
