𝐏𝐑𝐎𝟏𝟎 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝟐𝟏𝟓 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐒, 𝐒𝐄𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝟏𝟎.𝟓 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐁𝐔 𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) successfully apprehended a total of 215 individuals during its weeklong law enforcement operation from August 22 to 28, 2024.

The operation targeted various illegal activities including the campaigns against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, wanted persons, and others.

In anti-illegal drugs campaign, PRO10 conducted 87 operations, resulting in the apprehension of 102 individuals and confiscation of 1,548.647 grams of shabu and 1.1 grams of ma*****na with a total Standard Drug Price of PhP10,530,931.60.

In anti-illegal gambling, this PRO conducted 11 operations, resulting in the apprehension of 22 individuals and confiscation of PhP4,740.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

Moreover, in neutralizing wanted person, PRO10 arrested a total of 84 wanted individuals which comprised of 22 Most Wanted Persons and 62 Other Wanted Persons.

In the battle against loose fi****ms (Kontra Boga), PRO10 conducted 24 positive operations, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals and the confiscation/surrender/recovery of 39 small arms and three light weapons. Approximately 379 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, resulting in the voluntary surrender of 12 fi****ms for safekeeping.

PBGEN RICARDO G LAYUG JR, Regional Director, PRO10, commended the men and women of PRO10 for a job well done.

“Let us remain steadfast, fair, and just in all our actions. The fight against criminality is a collective effort, and with your support, we are confident that we can achieve lasting peace in our region,” he said.

PRO10 SEIZES P1.6M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, ARRESTS 121 INDIVIDUALS IN ONE-WEEK LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATION

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) successfully apprehended a total of 121 individuals across the region during a one-week law enforcement operation from August 15 to 21, 2024.

Under the leadership of PBGEN RICARDO G LAYUG JR, Regional Director, PRO10, the operation targeted various illegal activities including the campaigns on anti-illegal drugs, illegal gambling, wanted persons, and others.

In anti-illegal drugs campaign, PRO10 conducted 48 operations, resulting in the apprehension of 62 individuals and confiscation of 231.556 grams of shabu and 7,800 grams of ma*****na with a total Standard Drug Price of PhP1,633,580

In anti-illegal gambling, this PRO conducted eight operations, resulting in the apprehension of 13 individuals and confiscation of PhP11,186.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

Moreover, in neutralizing wanted person, PRO10 arrested a total of 45 wanted individuals which comprised of seven Most Wanted Persons and 38 Other Wanted Persons.

In the battle against loose fi****ms (Kontra Boga), PRO10 conducted three operations, resulting in the arrest of one individual and the confiscation/surrender/recovery of four small arms. Approximately 411 house visitations for Oplan Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, resulting in the voluntary surrender of one firearm for safekeeping.

STATEMENT OF PRO 11 ON THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION ORDER (TPO) ISSUED BY THE COURT

The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) notes the order of the Honorable Court directing the removal of any barricades, barriers, or blockades that restrict access to and from the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound.

The said TPO seeks to protect the life, liberty and security of the people at KOJC and the PNP shares the same sentiment.

In the implementation of the arrest warrant, PRO 11 is committed to respect the rule of law, safeguard human rights, and comply with the police operational procedures.

In as much as there is no cease and desist order from the amparo court, we will continue with the implementation of the arrest warrant.

To reiterate, when law enforcement authorities are directed by the court to implement an arrest warrant, they are clothed with the legal authority as officers of the court to comply with such order.

As public servants, we are committed to uphold the rule of law and aid the courts in the administration of justice.
