My bestfriend was the one who actually influenced me to read. She's always been the bookworm and I'd been just a listener. Since then, books made us closer and reading transported me to places I didn't know existed before.

Bought this book years back and I've been trying to read it since. It took me five tries to finally finish it.

Without spoiling anything, it's a fairly beautiful story - tackling the complexities of the mind and the even more perplexities of relationships. I felt so seen and understood. And at the same time, for the first time, I was able to experience what it's like looking in the mirror and realizing what others may see in me, or may not.
