LPG PRICE HIKE ⬆️

Major liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) suppliers Petron and Solane announced price increases effective February 1, citing adjustments in international LPG contract prices.

Petron said in an advisory that it will implement a P1.50 per kilogram increase, effective 12:01 AM on Sunday. The adjustment supposedly reflects the international contract price of LPG for February.

Meanwhile, in a separate advisory, Solane announced a P1.55 per kilogram increase for its LPG products, effective 6 AM on February 1.

Households are in for higher prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this December.

In an advisory on Sunday night, Petron Corp. said it will hike LPG prices by P2 per kilogram starting 12:01 a.m. of December 1, 2025.

RIZAL—On June 13, 2025, CIDG Rizal PFU detectives, together with Pryce Gases representatives, conducted three operations targeting the illegal sale of Pryce Gases LPG cylinders. These operations resulted in the arrest of three individuals caught selling cylinders without authorization. The operations took place in Rodriguez and Antipolo City, Rizal.
