The need for sustainable packaging comes from the fact that only 14% of the plastic packaging used globally is recycled. Whereas, more than 40% of packaging ends up in a landfill (Agrawal, 2019).

Who would have thought that eating a piece of cookie, a brownie, or a slice of banana bread could play a role in protecting the environment? 🌱

To reduce our impact on the environment, Sweet Dulse has finally decided to switch to a biodegradable, plant-based, and environment-friendly packaging! 🍃
