- Alejandro G. Abadilla was born in March 10, 1906 in Rosario, Cavite. He is a Filipino poet, essayist and fiction writer, finished his AB Philosophy at the University of Santo Tomas in 1934.
- Abadillaโs major breakthrough in Philippine poetry was when he wrote hos poem โAKO ANG DAIGDIGโ (I am the world) in 1955.
- In 1932, he began regularly listing and evaluating published poems in "Talaang Bughaw," and his contributions to Philippine literature encompass essays, short fiction, and novels. For his impactful work, he received the Republic Cultural Heritage Award in 1966.
