𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼, this project features an intelligent conveyor-based system that automates banana counting, ripeness detection, and size classification in real time using machine learning and computer vision.

By transforming manual inspection into a fast, accurate, and data-driven process, SabaVision empowers local agriculture with smarter, scalable solutions that bridge innovation and real-world impact.

This project was donated to the 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻, to support local agricultural innovation and community development.

Aligned with 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟴.𝟮, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟵.𝟰, and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟵.𝟱, this project advances productivity, innovation, and sustainable industry practices.

The Department of Computer Engineering proudly commends its Fourth Year students for the successful completion of their capstone project entitled “𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.” 🍉

𝗡𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗮, the project presents an automated, non-destructive approach to watermelon ripeness detection. This system addresses the limitations of traditional manual inspection by providing a more accurate and objective method tailored for small-scale vendors.

The project aligns with key 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, particularly 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟮.𝟯, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟴.𝟮, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟵.𝟯, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟵.𝟱, highlighting its contribution to agricultural productivity, innovation, and inclusive economic growth. 🔧

The system has been successfully deployed at the 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 through the support of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗮, thereby extending its benefits to local vendors and consumers. 📍
