During the praisefest, Bro. Mike Bukuhan led CFC leaders in thanksgiving and praise for God's message that echoed throughout 2025: to rejoice in spite of challenges, trials, and oppressions—to take courage and return to Galilee, where our hope always rests in Jesus Christ, our Lord. ✨

For Bro. Lawrence Quintero, evangelization is not just about the act of inviting people to our CLPs and community activities. 👟

It is about pursuing them until they are able to join us and finish the CLP or grow faithfully as the attend households and assemblies. Until they become leaders as well—and partake in our mission. Only then must our joy be complete.

CFC leaders were led into a spirit-filled opening worship by Bro. Patrick Thong of CFC Singapore, who reminded us that there is no better time to offer praise and thanksgiving—for the gift of life, family, and community. 💝

For Bro. Patrick, gratitude, even amid hardship, is an act of worship. Choosing to be present for the Lord, even while carrying joy or struggle, is already an act of worship. As the responsorial psalm proclaims: “The Lord takes delight in His people. Sing to the Lord a new song in the assembly of the faithful.”
