Our General Assembly held last April 10, 2026, with the theme "Engineering Connections: Energizing Innovation and Possibilities,โ became a meaningful gathering that strengthened camaraderie, collaboration, and shared aspirations among future engineers. The event served as a platform to reconnect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the passion for innovation that drives the engineering community forward. Through engaging activities, inspiring discussions, and the collective energy of participants, the assembly highlighted the importance of unity in building a future powered by creativity, technology, and purpose. It was not only an occasion to come together as one organization but also a reminder that strong connections among aspiring professionals can spark limitless opportunities and inspire transformative solutions for society.
One of the highlights of the event was the insightful discussion delivered by Engr. Salcedo, who tackled the timely topic โRising Fuel Prices in the Philippines Amid the Iran Conflict: The Role of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in the Transition to Renewable Energy.โ His discussion shed light on the global factors affecting fuel costs and their impact on the Philippine economy, while emphasizing the growing importance of sustainable and renewable energy alternatives. He also inspired students by highlighting the vital role of electrical and electronics engineers in addressing energy challenges through innovation, efficiency, and the development of greener technologies. The session encouraged everyone to think critically about the future of energy and the responsibility of engineers in shaping a more sustainable and resilient world.
