𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒆 & 𝑮𝒐𝒅 | 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘈𝘴𝘩, 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘎𝘦𝘴𝘶́ 💌

In 2021, during one of the hardest seasons of my life, my psychotherapist gave me an exercise.

"Sit with Jesus in prayer," she said.
"Then write a letter to yourself as though He were speaking to you."

So I did and I ended up writing nineteen letters.

Last night, I found this little journal again. As I reread the words I had written five years ago, I realized something. Maybe it was my hand that wrote those letters, but what I received in those moments of prayer was His love, His mercy, and His compassion, in a language my wounded heart could understand.

These letters are not meant to replace Scripture, nor are they claims of hearing God's literal voice. They are simply part of my journey of meeting Him in prayer during a season when I desperately needed to know I was loved.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be opening this little journal again. One letter at a time. Maybe one of these letters will meet you where you are, just as they continue to meet me today.

Not everything has to make sense.

May mga bagay na wala talagang sense, walang malinaw na dahilan, walang maayos na label. Mga bagay that we cannot fully comprehend or understand. But still, they matter.

A gentle reminder I received, and now trying to hold in my own way.

Even the things we cannot explain can still ask to be held gently.
