MINSU National Service Training Program

In consideration of the concerns raised by the students and the current financial struggles being experienced by many, the University Student Government (USG) has decided on 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙎𝙂 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙛 ₱150 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧.

This consideration applies only to USG-related fines and is implemented as an act of understanding and consideration toward the present financial situation of the students.

However, this does 𝙣𝙤𝙩 mean that the same policy will automatically apply in the following semesters or school years. The USG also reminds everyone that we do not tolerate irresponsibility or disregard of university activities and policies. We still encourage all students to remain responsible, participative, and mindful of their actions and responsibilities.

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Focused on elevating the standards of civic service and youth leadership, a delegation from Mindoro State University (MinSU) is currently attending the 20th National Congress of NSTP Educators and Implementers at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Royce Convention Center from May 13 to 15, 2026.

The congress, organized by the Philippine Society of NSTP Educators and Implementers, Inc. (PSNEII), celebrates two decades of molding the Filipino spirit. This year’s theme, “Championing NSTP through a Whole-of-Community Approach: Shaping Youth as Nation Builders,” highlights the crucial transition of learners into leaders through the spirit of bayanihan.

The participation of MBC Coordinator Mr. Enrique T. Magalay (Faculty Regent), MCC NSTP Facilitator/Instructor Mr. Regino D***s, and MBC NSTP Facilitator/Instructor Mr. James Mark Fajutag is driven by the mission to champion the National Service Training Program through a “Whole-of-Community” approach.

According to the official congress rationale, the delegation’s participation is centered on two primary objectives: (1) to engage in a national platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing aimed at elevating the implementation of both the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) and, (2) to enhance the awareness and commitment of implementers in championing the transformative impact of these programs, ensuring students evolve from learners into active nation-builders.

Through focusing on these goals, the MinSU team seeks to refine the university’s approach to the LTS, CWTS, and ROTC components, ensuring that service, compassion, and responsibility remain the foundation for the next generation of Filipino leaders.

The MCC 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 will be conducted in 3 batches on the scheduled date. Please take note of your assigned time slot:

🔔 Reminders:
- Be punctual and proceed to the venue on time.
-Bring your own water and fan for your comfort.
-Observe proper decorum during the examination.

-Cheating in an examination will result in a failing mark in the examination.Transmitting or soliciting information between students during the exam is strictly forbidden. Both students involved, if warranted, will receive a failing grade for that specific examination.

-Students who miss scheduled exams for valid reasons may be allowed to take a special examination. This requires submitting relevant documents to support the validity of the absence and obtaining approval from the Dean/Head/Program Chairperson. A special examination form must be completed by the student and a special examination fee paid, regardless of the number of exams to be taken.
