The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) is pleased to announce the eight ( 8 ) Writing Fellows accepted to the Virgin Labfest XX Writing Fellowship Program happening from June 17 to 29, 2025:

The Virgin Labfest Writing Fellowship Program is a two-week mentorship program on the study and practice of dramatic writing for the stage under the guidance of multi-award-winning playwright Mr. Glenn Sevilla Mas. These aspiring playwrights will be given access to the VLF XX: HINOG plays and will participate in talkbacks and interactions with its playwrights and directors.

The Writing Fellowship Program will conclude in stage readings of the Writing Fellows’ works at the Bulwagang Roberto Chabet (3/F Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez) on June 29, 2025 (5:00 PM).

PYDN's 2023 Annual Report is now available on the PYDN website!

This report highlights the Hall of Famers of the Philippine Sangguniang Kabataan Awards—a testament to the inspiring power of young people's impact in governance.

Since 2018, PSKA has recognized outstanding SKs that set new standards in public service. In the 4th PSKA, marking the final term of the previous batch of SKs, seven remarkable councils were inducted into the prestigious PSKA Hall of Fame: SK Balabag, SK Cabanatian, SK Calao West, SK Payatas, SK Villagonzaga, SK Tisa, and SK San Isidro.

The annual report also showcases the various programs we implemented together with you. These include the Kaibigan chat line, Young Heroes Initiative, Kabataang Resilient, and the iconic return of Ideas Positive for its 11th run.

In her message, Ate Jen emphasized the resilience and dedication that drive the network’s mission. From Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, the annual report shares inspiring stories of young leaders shaping a future built on courage, creativity, and compassion.

Today, we celebrate International Volunteer Day (IVD), observed every year on December 5th. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985, this day honors volunteers and promotes the spirit of volunteerism at local, national, and global levels.

Through the years our volunteers and kapatids have showcased courage, creativity, and compassion in showing up as young individuals with genuine care and passion to exert time and effort to various programs and initiatives at PYDN. Your unwavering commitment shows that, with the right opportunities, young people can be at the forefront of nation building.
