‎Yesterday, on March 20, 2026, we celebrated the World Storytelling Day, to make the occasion aligned to Mathematics, an event called "AlaMath" was designed to celebrate to tell stories about how mathematics shaped our world and to disperse love for mathematics. Its designated theme for the meaningful occasion is entitled as AlaMath: Awakening Love and Appreciation for Mathematics Through Stories.

‎The project "AlaMath," was held on March 17, at Balingit Constantino Lasip Elementary School. The Lasip Elementary School teacher, Ma'am Myrna E. Caguioa fostered immense hospitality as they welcomed everyone. The Calasiao Comprehensive National Highschool Mathematics Teacher, Sir Reymart Orodio gave his wise words which truly motivated the students.

‎There, interactive activities were available and students from Lasip Elementary School participated and used their wits, skills, and strategies. After the amusing engagement, snacks were distributed, ensuring that the pupils are sustained and energetic. Aside from the thrilling activities and the consumable goods available.

‎In addition to that, the League of Analytical Thinkers and Problems Solvers' (LEAPS) President, Christian Bryle Nuñez and Vice President, Zairen Belle Rioferio were handing out certificates to the event speakers. The storytelling session was currently ongoing, wherein the LEAPS Officers and Representatives shared stories about the significance of Mathematics and its applications to real-life experiences.

On December 10, 2025, in celebration of International Animal Rights Day, Project ROAR: Rise On Animal Rights was launched—an advocacy dedicated to amplifying voices for animal welfare and protection. One of its key activities, Pawtograph for a Cause, allowed participants to creatively express their stand and give a voice to animals.

‎The project was further extended on December 15, 2025 through a meaningful program that began with an ice breaker. This was followed by the opening spiels and the singing of Lupang Hinirang, Bagong Pilipinas, and the Pangasinan Hymn.

‎An opening message from Dr. Carina C. Untalasco, delivered through video, expressed her deep love and compassion for animals, setting the tone for the discussion proper. The program then featured two speakers who shared valuable insights on animal rights and welfare—Cedric Zulueta, on behalf of Dr. Kenneth Villamil, and Jorge R. Bandong, DVM.

‎After the discussion, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the speakers, followed by the recognition and awarding of participants for Pawtograph for a Cause. The program concluded with a closing statement by League of Analytical Thinkers and Problem Solvers (LEAPS) President, Christian Bryle C. Nuñez, who presented facts, data, and statistics on animal cruelty and emphasized the urgent need to stop it through awareness and collective action.

‎Project ROAR concluded not just as an event, but as a fulfilled advocacy—strengthening awareness, compassion, and responsibility toward protecting animal lives. 🐾

‎This project was made possible through the support of Katalyst Klan, Willow, and Wrigley’s, and was a collaborative project with 4-H TATAG.

‎Today on World Cancer Day, we are reminded that cancer affects millions of lives worldwide, but it is also a disease where prevention truly matters. Research shows that around 40% of cancers can be prevented by reducing exposure to risk factors such as to***co use, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, harmful alcohol consumption, and by adopting healthier lifestyle choices. Simple actions like eating nutritious food, staying physically active, avoiding smoking, and getting vaccinated can greatly lower the risk of developing cancer and help build a healthier future for all.

‎Equally important is early detection, which plays a major role in increasing survival rates. Regular screening, awareness of warning signs, and timely medical consultation allow cancers to be diagnosed at earlier and more treatable stages. When cancer is detected early, treatment is more effective and lives are saved. This World Cancer Day, let us continue to spread awareness, support prevention efforts, and encourage early detection—because together, we can make a difference.
