This individual in uniform is dressed as a student is back again and it’s no longer just boys anymore. You may find one of them in crowded places within the Makati Central Business District selling Arabian Jasmin flowers (“Sampaguita”) as a front. But they are obviously begging for money.

They’re in uniform and selling flowers is not ordinary, which they kept coming back might be working for a syndicate. Please avoid or ignore them, you can’t say who’s innocent anymore with this type of modus.

Unfortunately, no child services in the Philippines to take these children in uniform as DSWD has limited jurisdiction as most of them will return to the streets to survive regardless if they do not have legal guardian or parent.

Still, giving money to them will not help. If you give them food they will throw them just to find out if they are under the influence of a syndicate or they only wanted money to survive.

Either way, never give money to those are begging rather, help those who are street vendors that actually sell things not flowers.
