Proud Tarlac: More than ₱20 million total worth of cash prizes, plus mentorship, and assistance awaits the winners of this year’s DTI Malikhaing Pinoy Season 3 as three talented Tarlaqueño entries proudly advanced to the Top 10 Grand Finale of the nationwide competition.

Among the grand finalists is FORT-i Visions Photography, a local group of videographers and photographers from Tarlac. The team gained attention for their trending 10-episode video series titled “ALAM MO BA? The Camiling Series,” which showcased the rich history, culture, and hidden stories of the town of Camiling. Their creative storytelling and cinematography earned praise from viewers online and helped bring local heritage into the spotlight.

Another Tarlaqueño finalist is Bok Agustin, a student from Birbira High School. His five-episode entry, “Kalikansya,” highlighted creativity and environmental awareness by transforming garbage and recyclable materials into useful products such as alkansya or coin banks. His project inspired many young viewers to value recycling and innovation.

Also making it to the grand finals is Ash Agustin from Bobon First Palimbo Proper Elementary School. His three-episode entry titled “Kidgital Superhero: Safeguards in Using Technology” focused on educating children and families about responsible and safe use of technology in today’s digital age.

The DTI Malikhaing Pinoy is an annual competition organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to promote the artistic, literary, and creative talents of young Filipinos across the country. The contest features multiple categories such as Graphic Novel, Screenwriting, Songwriting, Game Development, Playwriting and more.

The Top 10 finalists in each category will receive cash prizes, mentorship programs, and creative assistance from DTI. The grand winner of the competition may receive prizes worth up to ₱1 million.
