Central Philippines Tourism Expo (CPTEX) 2026 Officially opened at Ayala Malls Solenad with DOT Calabarzon 4A as the host region. The Tourism 4A Regional Director, Ms. Marites Castro, spearheaded the two back-to-back key events during the Day 1 starting with the Tourism Talks 2026 held at Lyceum of the Philippines - Laguna where hundreds of delegates across different educational institutions graced and learned from the 3 resource speakers.

At Ayala Malls Solenad, Department of Tourism - Philippines Secretary Ditha Angara-Mathay led the launch of the "Discover More To Love" domestic tourism campaign, still under the wing of the Love The Philippines. One of the goals of the campaign is to influence more Filipinoes to explore the new and established destinations of the country. National tourism officials where present along with the presence of the other Tourism Regional Directors outside the Central Philippines Cluster.
