Multiplication Drill by Ms. Isabel Tangarorang - Grade 4 Math Teacher

The Department of Education issues DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2021 entitled “Amendment to DepEd Order No. 030, s. 2020 (Amendment to DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2020, School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2020-2021)” to allow schools to implement interventions for bridging learning gaps and to give time to teachers for the different learning delivery modalities.

With this, teachers, parents, and learners are advised to take note of the following amendments to the school calendar:

Interventions for bridging learning gaps and intensifying learning gains
March 1-12, 2021

In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers
March 15-19, 2021

Quarter 3
March 22 to May 15, 2021

Quarter 4
May 17 to July 10, 2021

This policy shall be implemented in ALL PUBLIC elementary and secondary schools nationwide for SY 2020-2021.

Private schools, technical and vocational institutions, and higher education institutions, including state and local universities and colleges offering the K to 12 Basic Education Program are ENCOURAGED to implement these guidelines according to their philosophy, vision, and mission.
