We are pleased to announce the Second Batch of Passers/Qualifiers for Enrollment for the following programs for Academic Year 2026–2027 at Samar State University – Mercedes Campus:
• BS Marine Biology (BSMB)
• Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTED)
Please check the posted list to see if your name is included.
If your name appears on the list, kindly follow the steps below:
1. Claim Your Result Slip
Visit the Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS) – Guidance Office starting April 27, 2026 to secure your Result Slip.
2. Confirm Your Slot
Confirm your slot on or before May 18, 2026 at the SWDS Office through Ma’am Maclyn Diamos or Ma’am Adelle Labago.
⚠️ Important: Failure to confirm within the given schedule will result in the forfeiture of your slot, which will automatically be offered to applicants on the waitlist.
3. Bring the Following Requirements (Original and Photocopy):
1. NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
2. Form 138 (Report Card) and Form 137 (Permanent Record) / Transcript of Records (TOR) for transferees
3. Good Moral Certificate
4. Passport-size ID with name tag (no selfie)
5. Long expanded envelope

All graduating students from all programs (BTVTEd, BS Fisheries and BS Marine Biology) are invited to attend the Placement Seminar entitled “Pre-Employment Workshop: Building Self-Image and Work Ethics” on April 29, 2026, at the Student Center, followed by the Mock Interview in the afternoon at the 2nd Floor, New Library Building.

This event aims to prepare graduating students for employment by enhancing their professional self-image, strengthening work ethics, and developing their job application and interview skills, helping them become more confident and competitive in the workplace.

All participants are encouraged to wear formal business attire and bring a printed resume and application letter for the mock interview.

Your attendance and participation are highly encouraged.
