International Marketing Group (IMG) paid a courtesy visit to City Mayor Lucy Torres Gomez this afternoon at the City Mayor’s Office.

IMG shared to the mayor their plans in continuing financial education in the city. The company has been a partner of LGU-Ormoc since the administration of Congressman Richard Gomez in the latter’s livelihood programs by conducting financial education. Their platform in their campaign is “Education with Execution.” According to Mayor Lucy, it is always advisable to teach the citizens, especially students, financial literacy. Quoting Ms. Gloria Diaz, “it’s not how much you earn, but how much you save” in order for a person to be financially stable.

Present were Perla Badajos, Senior Marketing Director, Gemma Flor Corbo, Senior Marketing Director, Matthew Vergara, RFP Senior Marketing Director, Nida Vergara, Rico Puno, Gilbert Badajos, Meryl Badajos, and Art Lingo.

Together with Mayor Lucy in welcoming them were Congressman Richard I. Gomez and SP Member Jasper Lucero.
