What makes a good Filipino Architecture?

A tropical modern house blends a contemporary aesthetic with a response to the tropics' climatic and environmental challenges. It employs tropical design methods such as sun shading and cross ventilation. This combination results in a home with foreign influences yet a distinct regional character.

Inspired by a "modern bahay kubo", a Proposed Private Villa is to be built in Alfonso, Cavite. The spaces are 2 bedrooms, 2 toilet and baths, living area, outdoor dining and kitchen, pool with lounge area, and carport.

Client meeting and Site inspection

This is a potential commercial space in Canelar, Zamboanga. The 1103 sq.m. property will soon house a Cafe, a Restaurant, a Multipurpose Hall, and a Private Villa.

There are over 20 towering trees on the property, including Talisay Trees, Buri Trees, and Coconut Trees, to name a few. The objective is to come up with a design that does not necessitate the removal of any trees and instead incorporates nature into the future commercial area.
