𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗥𝗨 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

The National Capital Region Regional Community Defense Group (NCRRCDG), led by Col. Ferdinand Rey G. Ga (MNSA) ART PA, Group Commander, held its 2nd Quarter Ready Reserve Unit (RRU) Commanders’ Conference for RRU commanders, last May 31, 2026 at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. BGEN Michael Odylon L. Romero PAF (RES), Commander, Tactical Operations Wing, PAF (Reserve) Northern Luzon and Founding Chairman of ARRAPI, also graced the activity as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The conference provided a venue for RRU commanders and reserve force leaders to discuss unit accomplishments, ongoing programs, best practices, and future initiatives. The activity also featured the oath-taking of newly designated RRU Advisor, BGEN Noel T. Baluyan PA (Ret), and briefings on Volunteer Mobilizing Organizations (VMOs) and Accredited Community Disaster Volunteers (ACDVs), highlighting efforts to strengthen reservist involvement in community engagement and disaster response.

In his keynote message, BGen Romero recognized the contributions of reservists to national defense and public service. He also emphasized the Philippine Total Defense System and the growing role of reservists in supporting national security and development.
