That's a successful wrap for ELS students as they explore Pragmatics in Action 🎬🗣️

During April 25th, both ELS and MAAL students were joined by esteemed speakers that provided them with a wide range of knowledge and perspectives that fostered a deeper understanding in the field of pragmatics.

From this, the Society of Language Enthusiasts and the Department of Communications, Linguistics, and Literature would like to express their gratitude to all three speakers: Ms. Mary Catherine M. Ariosa, Ms. Arra Katrina Villaruel, and Atty. Harris Abangan. Their expertise in the field of pragmatics, specifically, green advertisements, humor, and political advertisements, has highly contributed to the learning of the students. We would also like to thank our professors behind the organizing committee and to the student body for joining us.
