Minecraft Arch of the Centuries

Built this for the 415th Founding Anniversary of the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, The Catholic University of the Philippines.

A National Cultural Treasure, the Arch of the Centuries at the University of Santo Tomas is a unique monument combining an original 17th-century portal with a mid-20th-century replica. It serves as a symbolic rite of passage for the Thomasian community, marking the start of a student's journey during the Welcome Walk and their departure from the university upon graduation.

Minecraft Boljoon Church

The Archdiocesan Shrine of Patrocinio de María Santísima, more widely known as Boljoon Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Boljoon, Cebu. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Patronage and falls under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu.

The church has been recognized as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines and as a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It is also being considered for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list as part of the proposed extension of the Baroque Churches of the Philippines.

Did you know that the present Rizal Monument at Luneta, Richard Kissling’s Motto Stella, placed second during the competition for the project? What happened to the first-place design that was supposed to become the monument at Luneta?

To commemorate the anniversary Dr. José Rizal's martyrdom, we reimagine a Minecraft recreation of the first-prize–winning monument, Al Martir de Bagumbayan (“To the Martyr of Bagumbayan”), designed by Carlos Nicoli of Carrara, Italy.
