CONDEMN THE BUREAUCRAT CAPITALISTS’ LEGACY OF IMPERIALIST SERVITUDE! CALL FOR PEOPLES’ TRANSITION COUNCIL NOW

With the impeachment moved to the Senate, Duterte’s allies claimed the majority, resurfacing Bato de la Rosa, who is currently wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity, by leading the charge on Duterte’s bloody “War on Drugs” legacy. With the claimed majority, they initiated a coup against former Senate President Tito Sotto, replacing him with Alan Peter Cayetano. The current elite majority of the Senate holds ties to imperialist China alongside the Dutertes.

The obvious change serves as groundwork in presiding over the impeachment court: raising issues of integrity in their shameless attempt to steer clear of the articles against Sara Duterte and fool the toiling masses once more. The situation in the Senate only proves the ridiculously unfair preferential treatment of bureaucrat capitalists, whereas the masses would face illegal detention and state-ordered murders without due process. The elite should not be above the law, and the masses deserve better enforcement of the Constitution to hold them accountable.

The Senate deflects the real roots of our struggle by supporting Imperialist regimes, acting as their subservient bureaucrat capitalists to perpetuate the feudal and fascist state of the nation. Systemic change and impartial enforcement of the Constitution are needed more than ever due to the unreliability of the Senate.

Anakbayan Cebu calls on the masses to continue the struggle for genuine mass-serving systems, the cutting of regressive Imperialist-enforced policies, and the end of blatant tyranny — which would only happen if both the Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte are impeached, and the democratic People’s Transition Council (PTC) is enforced to recover stolen wealth, implement bills like the Anti-Political Dynasty Bill, and let sectors represent the council (composed of the farmers, fisherfolk, women, youth, Indigenous Peoples, urban poor, etc.). The People’s Transition Council will reform the current system before the next national election.

IT IS ONLY THROUGH THE STRUGGLE OF THE MASSES THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE GENUINE CHANGE AND NOT THROUGH THE MANIPULATIVE BUREAUCRAT CAPITALIST CLASS AND THEIR IMPERIALIST MASTERS!
