We would like to offer our gratitude and congratulations to Alden Arsèn for the release of his book, Sigay and Other Poems. It is a wonderful collection, and in our opinion, one of the best poetry collections to come out of the local literary scene in a long time.

Our deepest gratitude goes to D and the rest of the warm and remarkable people at Lost Books Cebu for always supporting us and for giving these authors a lovely corner where their thoughts can blossom and inspire the countless minds that pass through those doors every day—to dream, to yearn, and to imagine.

A special mention to John Danté for introducing us to Alden. He is very instrumental in putting these pieces together. Without him, we would not have encountered Alden's writing.

Lastly, to everyone who preordered the book, everyone who went yesterday for the launch, and everyone who supported this journey: thank you. You could have been somewhere else, spending time with family or tending to your own affairs, yet you chose to be there during the launch instead. (We're sorry we weren't able to take decent photos of the launch.)

May this little book find its way into many hearts and minds, offering a deep well of inspiration and a constellation of hope amid these times of despair and decay.
