🥭 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Mango breeders, molecular geneticists, researchers, and industry stakeholders from the Philippines and Australia, together with experts from the international mango research community, will convene for the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 on 22–24 July 2026.

With the theme, “From Genes to Orchards: Enhancing Mango Breeding Through International Collaboration,” the forum will examine advances in mango breeding and genomics, industry priorities, climate resilience, and opportunities for sustained regional and international collaboration. The program will include technical presentations, country reports, panel discussions, roadmap development, and field-based activities.

The forum is jointly organized by the UPLB Institute of Crop Science and UPLB Institute of Plant Breeding, DOST PCAARRD, and the Queensland Agriculture, in collaboration with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.
