This is to inform the public regarding the circulating video showing students crossing the river during rainy days. Talifugo National High School wishes to reiterate that the school has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of all learners. Prior to the incident, we have consistently informed and advised parents/guardians to fetch their children from school, especially during inclement weather. Likewise, students have been repeatedly instructed to use the designated footbridge as the safe route when going home.

Despite these reminders, it is unfortunate that some learners still chose to cross the river, contrary to the instructions given. In response, the school is implementing stricter monitoring and reinforced safety protocols to prevent similar incidents from happening again. The safety and well-being of our students remain our top priority.

We respectfully appeal for the continued cooperation of parents, guardians, and the community to ensure that our learners follow the prescribed safety guidelines at all times.
