Artery Art Space presents a solo exhibition by Paulu Bruselas entitled “Hungry Hearts” on the beauty of athletic performance engaged with the sublime desire for human excellence, while using a Pop sensibility representative of the modern symbolic of the political, the economic, and the autonomous. The show features the artist’s bold new exploration with acrylic painting as a flexible medium to compose the body at the height of competition, whilst stretching time through a dynamic montage of movement towards transcendence.
