-6 to 8 years Instrument design experience

-Design/check, provide material take-off, requisition order, vendor data review and drawing incorporation, technical bid evaluation, Technical clarification and prepare ship loose list.

-Design/check of drawings, i.e. P & ID, loop, termination, lay-out, cable schedule, hook-up, mounting details of field & control room instruments:

* Valves (Control, Blowdown, Shutdown, Choke, On-off, Motor operated and Deluge)
* Pressure Regulators, Transmitters (Pressure, Differential Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature)
*Pressure & Temperature Gauges, Flow Indicators, Analyzers, Pig Signalers.
*Fire & Gas Instruments; Control Panels; DCS; SDS; FGS; Junction Boxes, Control/DCS Panels; Telecommunication: i.e. LAN, Radio System, PA/GPA System, Entertainment System, Telephone System and Onshore/offshore Communication Systems & accessories; cable ladder/tray support etc.

-Review and check all documentation such as design specification, equipment specification, drawings etc.

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Performs various mechanical engineering works in accordance with the instructions from the Lead Engineers & or Group Lead.
• Checks completed works from originators and reports problem or Design Clarifications before endorsing to Lead or Group Leader.
• Ensures that Project Ex*****ons are in accordance with the Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) requirements.

Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies

• Have a wide knowledge on the applicable Codes and Standards (API 610/682/614).
• Have a pair understanding of Project Ex*****on procedures and work flow.
• Have experience in preparation of Design Deliverables.
• Can proceed with all Engineering and Design Work.
• Can provide Technical advice and support to fellow Mechanical Engineers and other Discipline Engineers during the Detailed Engineering Phase.
• Can provide Technical support on Vendors and Construction Group during equipment
fabrication and installation respectively.
• Can provide Technical advice to other Discipline including Team members during the course of Detail Design and Engineering.

Behavioral Skills / Competencies

• Communicate effectively with Team Members.
• Capable of Leading a Project based on effective Planning, Scheduling including delegation of specific task/s among Team Members.
• Works independently and exercise judgment.

Qualifications / Certifications
Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered Mechanical Engineer by the Professional Regulation Commission

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:
• At least 6 to 8 years working experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industries preferably in an EPC Company.
