According to Dr. Bernardo, the OJT program serves as a vital bridge between academic learning and public service. βWe are proud to have hosted these young minds. Their time with us allowed them to understand the realities of public service and the importance of inclusivity, while helping us deliver better assistance to our PWD constituents,β he stated.
Throughout their training, the students were exposed to various activities β from administrative support and client assistance to program coordination and documentation β all aimed at developing their skills and deepening their sense of social responsibility.
For their part, the graduates expressed gratitude to the PDAO family, their schools, and the provincial government for the opportunity. They noted that their experience not only enhanced their professional capabilities but also opened their eyes to the value of serving the PWD sector and the community at large.
This initiative underscores the strong partnership between the provincial government and local higher education institutions β Camarines Norte State College and Mabini Colleges Inc. β in molding competent, serviceβoriented, and socially aware future professionals.
As they move forward in their careers, these five young achievers carry with them not just a certificate, but a meaningful experience that will surely guide them to become responsible and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
