TODAY, WE WEAR WHITE


This Sunday, June 28, we are invited to wear white or a white ribbon in response to the Pastoral Appeal of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.

This simple gesture is not about politics. It is a visible expression of our faith, our hope in God, and our prayer for the healing of our nation.

White reminds us of Christ, the Light of the world. It speaks of purity, peace, truth, and the new life we receive through Him. As we gather for the Holy Eucharist, may what we wear outwardly reflect what we desire inwardly—a heart that seeks reconciliation, justice, and love.

Our country continues to face many challenges. As Catholics, our first response is always prayer. We pray not only for ourselves, but for our leaders, our fellow Filipinos, and all who long for peace, wisdom, and unity.

May this Sunday's celebration remind us that lasting change begins with hearts transformed by God's grace. Let us be instruments of peace in our homes, our workplaces, our communities, and wherever the Lord sends us.

As we come before the altar, let us entrust our beloved Philippines to the Lord, confident that He continues to guide our nation with mercy and love.

JULY IS COMING! JULY IS DEDICATED TO THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS

As we prepare to welcome a new month, the Church invites us to deepen our love for the Precious Blood of Jesus, to whom the entire month of July is traditionally dedicated.

The Precious Blood is the price of our redemption—the Blood that Christ willingly shed on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation of the world. It is a powerful reminder of God's infinite love, mercy, and the sacrifice that opened the gates of eternal life for us.

Throughout July, let us spend time reflecting on Christ's Passion, praying the Chaplet or Litany of the Precious Blood, participating in the Holy Eucharist, and living lives worthy of the great price paid for our salvation.

Whatever burdens you carry into this new month, place them at the foot of the Cross. The Precious Blood of Jesus is our refuge, our hope, our healing, and our strength. Through His Blood, we are redeemed. Through His Blood, we are reconciled with the Father. Through His Blood, we are called to new life.

May this month renew our faith, strengthen our trust in God's mercy, and draw us ever closer to the Heart of Christ.
