Another milestone reached! This Monday, we are now processing our 2,820th business permit, reflecting the continued growth and vibrancy of our local economy.

All businesses are welcome in the Municipality of Daet as we continue to support investments, livelihood opportunities, and economic growth within our community.

However, prior to making any public announcement or commencing business operations, all necessary business permits and regulatory clearances must first be secured in full compliance with existing local ordinances and national laws.

This policy promotes transparency, legality, public safety, and equal treatment among all legitimate businesses operating in the Municipality of Daet.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and commitment to responsible and lawful business practices.

This initiative is pursuant to the Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act Of 2018, which mandates the reduction of bureaucratic red tape through streamlined of government processes and Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s. 2025, declaring the Month of May of every year as the National Ease of Doing Business Month, which serves as a platform to highlight government initiatives on regulatory reform, reduced transaction costs, and improved customer experience.

The Local Government of Daet, headed by Mayor Rossano Valencia, through the Business Permit and Licensing Office and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, actively participates in the weekly conduct of inspections together with the Provincial Price Coordinating Council and other government agencies.

During the opening of Business One Stop Shop 2026 last January 12, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Daet through the Business Permit and Licensing Office gave appreciation to the first 10 business establishments successfully renewed their Business Permit. The ten business owners received a token from our Municipal Mayor, Mayor Rossano C. Valencia, for their efforts in renewing their Business Permit on the first day of BOSS 2026.

At 11:15 in the morning of the said opening date, the Business Permit and Licensing Office issued the first Business Permit for this year. On the same date, the BPLO started the Integration of Barangay Business Clearance to the business owners operating in the 24 out of 25 barangays of our municipality.

The Business One Stop Shop is still ongoing until February 28, 2026, we are encouraging business owners to register and renew their permits to avoid penalties.
