"Through Hearts United: a Celebration of Love"
Yesterday, February 13,2026 was the PCU JHS celebration of "Love Day" or "Valentine's Day" for others, a special program at the NAB 7th floor function Hall and booths from different jhs clubs including the Young Book Lovers Club had their share for the big day event.
"Books,Bites and Hearts" was a combination of valentine merch,sweet treats ,games and small gift items for the young ang young at heart. It was a fun filled day of enjoying and helping out each other.Proceeds of the booth will go to the outreach programs and club funds .

And it's a wrap! The celebration of the 91st National Book Week of the JHS Department culminated with an on the Spot Poster Making Contest held last December 3, 2025 at the Junior High School Library. Spearheaded by Ms. Anne De Guzman,JHS Librarian together with the Young Book Lover's Club, selected grade 7-10 students participated in the said contest. Among the judges were Ms Rose Ann Bernadette Legaspi ,Guidance associate, Mr. Roland Sayago, OSA Coordinator and Mrs Leah Sabagay-Babalcon,faculty and Discipline Officer of the JHS Department.Winners won cash prizes and certificates, non winners got consolation prizes and certificates as well.It was a wonderful and enjoyable contest that showed creative expressions for the love and promotion of reading.

ONE DAY TO GO!!!! The celebration of the 91st National Book Week will culminate tomorrow with an On the Spot Poster Making Contest, spearheaded by the JHS Library, together with the Young Book Lovers' Club. Contestants will showcase their creative and artistic talents in drawing and painting based on the theme of the NBW. This will be held at the New JHS Library, Rm. 201, JHS Retrofitted Building from 1:00 pm onwards. Cash prizes and certificates will be given to winning entries and consolation prizes for the non-winners.
