Hidden within the remaining forests of Mindanao, a loud call echoes through the trees—a vibrant guardian of the skies, bold yet increasingly rare. 🌿

Meet the 𝐑𝐮𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥, a striking bird known for its bright orange bill and powerful wings. 🦜 As it feeds on fruits and scatters seeds across the forest, it helps keep the ecosystem alive and thriving.

But this magnificent hornbill is facing a silent crisis. Illegal hunting, wildlife trade, and rapid deforestation continue to destroy the home it depends on, pushing the species closer to extinction. 🌏
