𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦

It remembers the trembling of walls and the prayers that rose faster than dust. It remembers hurried footsteps toward open fields, trembling hands searching for familiar faces, and names called into the confusion of a world suddenly made unsteady.

Beneath the roads we travel and the homes we call our own lies a story once spoken in fear and destruction. Its voice echoed through towns and cities alike, leaving behind ruins where certainty once stood and dust where memories were made.

For a moment, it seemed as though everything had changed.

But then came the hands that cleared the debris.

The neighbors who checked on one another.

The strangers who became rescuers.

The communities that gathered not because they were untouched by tragedy, but because they refused to be defined by it.

The ground remembers.

But so do we.

We remember the cracks left upon our walls, yet we remember more clearly the hands that rebuilt them. We remember the fear, but we remember the courage that stood beside it. We remember the uncertainty, but we remember the hope that carried us through.

For every structure that fell, countless spirits remained standing.
The earth has tested us before. It has shaken our foundations and reminded us how fragile life can be. Yet each time, we answered not with surrender, but with resilience. We found strength in one another, comfort in community, and hope in the promise of another sunrise.

The ground remembers every time it has broken.
We remember every time we have rebuilt.

And perhaps that is the story of Mindanao. not one of destruction, but of endurance. Not of what fell, but of what rose again. Not of the shaking, but of the people who stood firm long after it was over.

For beneath us lies a restless earth, ancient and powerful.
And above it stands a people just as steadfast.

The ground remembers.

And because it does, so do we. Not to relive the fear, but to honor the strength that followed. To remember that we have faced this before, endured the dust before, and risen every single time.

For when the earth moved, our spirit did not.

And when the dust settled, we stood tall.
