𝐈𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 ‘𝐊𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐨𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐚,’ 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞

No matter how old we get, there will always be comfort in hearing the words, “Ka kaon kana?” from our moms.

Mother's have a unique way of loving so quietly yet so deeply—through sleepless nights, early mornings, simple reminders, and sacrifices we unfortunately only begin to understand as we grow older. Sometimes their love is found not only in grand moments, but also in our most vulnerable times some of us often overlook.

"Eskwela gid maayo para sa ulihi indi kamo mangin puppet sang iban nga tawo" I vividly remember she once said that to me. Back then i didn't quite get it. I thought it is one of those line of hers that I might forget after a few hours, but looking back now it made me realized how important that line is. Living in this economy surrounded by people who are fond of taking advantage of other people's social status is very dangerous.

This only shows that being a mother isn't just about doing the laundry or preparing our breakfast but simultaneously standing up as lifetime safety net too.

This Mother's Day, we celebrate every mother and mother figures out there who continues to give strength, warmth, and serve as a fuel in child's journey toward their dreams.

Honoring St. Joseph the Worker, a model of humility, diligence, and quiet strength. His life reminds us that every task, no matter how small, carries dignity and purpose.

St. Joseph the Worker stands as a symbol of integrity in labor, encouraging a culture of responsibility, discipline, and purpose among today’s generation.

As the patron of Cabarrus Catholic College, his quiet dedication and faithful service remind us that true greatness is found not in recognition, but in the value and sincerity we bring to our work each day.

To the Stargazer team, thank you for showing up with passion, patience, and heart during this event. From covering every game, chasing deadlines, taking photos, writing stories, and capturing moments that mattered you made the spirit of KADICOSCA 2026 live beyond the venue.

This three-day event was exhausting, exciting, and unforgettable, and none of it would have been the same without this team’s dedication behind the scenes. Thank you for the teamwork, the sacrifices, the laughter in between pressure, and for proving that journalism is not just about reporting events, it’s about preserving history as it happens.

Throughout the competition, CCC showcased outstanding talent across a wide range of events—from indoor games and academic contests to cultural performances and sports competitions. Each participant gave their all, demonstrating not only skill but also discipline, teamwork, and true sportsmanship.

The journey to victory was not easy, as BCC, KCC, and LCC each proved to be formidable opponents. However, CCC’s consistency, preparation, and unwavering spirit set them apart.
