The DSSC Tudlok Visual Artists Guild successfully staged its Visual Arts Festival, bringing together its very own Tudlok members and talented students from various colleges in a vibrant celebration of creativity. The event became a canvas of intricate artistry, burning passion, and unwavering determination, as participants poured their skills and imagination into every masterpiece they created.
The festivalโs success was made possible through the dedicated leadership of Tudlok Adviser Cherry B. Corpin and Co-Adviser Jones Lyndon C. Damo, alongside the Tudlok officers and members led by organization president, Era Mae M. Palanca. Together, they carefully crafted seven dynamic competition categories: Photography Walk, Digital Drawing, Pencil Drawing, Charcoal Rendering, Coffee Painting, On-the-Spot Poster Making, and In Situ Painting, each designed to challenge, inspire, and highlight diverse artistic talents.
The event was also graced by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, Ph.D., DSSC Culture and Arts Coordinator Sir Jenie Philip Saniel, and former Tudlok President Sir Vincent Paul B. Regidor, who expressed their strong support and appreciation for this meaningful creative initiative. Their presence further affirmed the importance of nurturing the arts within the academic community.
More than just a competition, the Visual Arts Festival became a powerful reminder that art is alive within DSSC, thriving in every stroke, shade, and snapshot. As the festival concluded, it left not only awards and recognitions, but also inspiration, strengthened camaraderie, and a renewed commitment to continue cultivating creativity on campus and beyond.
