ASC DAYS 2023!
ASC DAYS 2023 is coming up, and you better get ready for it!
The Academy Student Council is currently seeking a gifted and enthusiastic song composer or composer who can create an original composition that embodies the spirit and heart of this year's ASC DAYS theme. The theme for the 2023 ASC DAYS is "Kamingaw Idakdak, Kalingaw Isidlak." This is your opportunity to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
HERE ARE THE MECHANICS AND CRITERIA.
1. The composition must be original and related to the theme “Kamingaw Idakdak, Kalingaw Isidlak” This
ASC DAYS 2023.
2. All academy students enrolled in the SY 2023-2024 can join individually or in groups.
3. Lyrics of the song may be in Filipino/ English Languages.
4. The composition must be at least three (3) minutes and a maximum of five (5) minutes.
5. The lyrics of the song must consist of appropriate words.
6. Accompaniment is encouraged to give lively, upbeat, last-song syndrome vibes. Instruments like piano, violin, guitar, flute, and saxophone, beatbox/drum may be used.
7. Lyrics should be submitted in a short bond paper in 4 copies with the name of the composer/s at the bottom of the paper.
8. Submission of entries will be in the form of a live performance on November 28, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the ASC Office.
Criteria for Judging:
❖ Relevance to the theme- 40%
❖ Musicality- 20%
❖ Mastery- 20%
❖ Lyrical Quality- 20%
Overall - 100%
