Ready to respond, equipped to save lives in the community. 💯
Phase 2 of PULSE: First Aid 101 successfully wrapped up in Brgy. San Jose, Montalban, Rizal last June 5-6, 2026! ❤️🩹 Volunteers from UP MSSR and the PGH Emergency Department spent two incredible days training local community health workers and volunteers from the Montalban Action Group and Medical Action Group in first aid techniques. 🩹
From the fundamental CABCDE assessment approach to high-pressure skills like wound packing, applying tourniquets, stopping severe blood flow, performing CPR, and safe patient lifting, these participants were able to hone their skills in a span of 2 days. 💪
Check out some highlights from our hands-on training sessions below! 👇
Special thanks as well to our partner organizations INAM Philippines and Medical Action Group for their aid in making this event possible ♥
